Our Premises

Substance (particle)-based thinking works in the material world, where we perceive objects in linear time, but in a relational cosmic field, we need wave-based thinking — where reality is dynamic, interconnected, and participatory. This shift is not dualistic, but rather a move from static ontology to relational ontology.

Classical physics and materialist philosophy focus on particles — discrete entities moving through time and space. This leads to linear causality, where one thing affects another in a sequential, mechanical fashion. In this view, identity is fixed, and interactions are external rather than intrinsic.

Quantum physics shows that reality is fundamentally wave-like, with superposition, entanglement, and non-locality. Waves are relational, meaning their identity depends on interaction, interference, and harmonization with other waves. This aligns with Teilhard’s Divine Milieu, and Sree Narayana Guru’s Advaita, where reality is not a collection of separate objects but a field of dynamic becoming.

Particle and wave are not two realities but two perspectives of the same underlying relational process. Instead of either/or thinking (substance vs. relation), we adopt both/and thinking, where reality appears particulate when analyzed in a material frame but is wave-like and relational when seen holistically. This harmonization of perspectives is crucial for integrating science, spirituality, and intelligence studies.

Its practical implication is a shift from machine intelligence to a Harmonic Intelligence. In social structures, instead of rigid hierarchies (particle thinking), we envision networks of mutual influence (wave thinking). Moving from isolated intelligence (classical AI) the world is posed to relational, emergent intelligence (compassionate AI). Instead of external moral rules (substance-based), ethics emerges from dynamic harmonization — like the resonance of waves.

This shift is not about rejecting particles but seeing them as moments within the deeper relational field of waves. Reality is a self-harmonizing wave-field where intelligence, being, and love emerge through interaction, not separation.

Thinking in linear time, full grasping of this may not be our near future. This shift in human intelligence is not going to be fully realised in our life’s time. Yet, it has begun. And history of human cultural and social evolution reflects the self-harmonising wave-field where the particulate individual lives and events weave the future level of empathetic harmony despite occasional and local deviations in the form of injustices and violence.
