About Muziris Times
MuzirisTimes is a viewspaper with the Muziris of the 1st Century C.E. as its dateline.
Instead of daily news, it presents centennial and millennial news; not events, but historical trends. It tries to create an Indian version of his-and-her story of humanity by looking backward and forward from 1st Century Muziris.
Within the last two millennia, for the wider world, the port city of Muziris (Muchiri Pattanam / Kodungallur / Kochi) has grown into the highly literate, densely populated, largest Indian ‘rural metropolis’ that is Kerala, the southernmost state in the country.
The main contents of MuzirisTimes are books that keep growing. Each book will be continuously revised and new articles, videos and other resources added as appendix.
